Job Role:
In line with Group strategies and Quality Standards, manages all activities in the station in order to guarantee an excellent customer experience, to ensure cost effectiveness of operations handling, sales development and to implement and comply with safety, Security and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- In compliance with the Group policy, Customer ambition, Safety and Security Standards, supervises all activities in the station in order to ensure on-time flight departure, safety, and make customer experience unique.
- Coordinates all outsourced airport activities
- Plans and executes mandatory audits. Initiates corrective actions if necessary. Manage by SMS
- Ensures implementation of the Local Emergency Plan to allow immediate and efficient treatment of any crisis situation;
- Ensures 24/7 local management coverage, ensuring 90min maximum response time to the airport crisis center.
- Manage and monitor Handling companies
- Handles relationships with local Airport Authorities;
- Monitors quality results, ensures station compliance with quality standards, and initiates corrective actions.
- Ensures the application of company Security procedures in the context of Federal, State and local airport security entities.
- Monitors social and geopolitical environments as well as punctual local events that could have a negative impact on the company image or secure operations and keeps Regional Management and the Operational Control Center advised.
- In compliance with Group procedures, draws up and manages in the best cost effective way possible the station budget in order to ensure cost control.
- Provides local Management with reports and accurate analysis on station costs and revenue;
- Is responsible for the invoicing process.
- Negotiates in coordination with the General Manager/Purchasing Director the supplier's contracts and ensures the follow-up.
- Represents the company’s best interests in Airport budget reviews affecting future airport operating costs.
- Promotes the company brand image through active participation in regional commercial organizations and through client interaction.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of all airport operations domains
- Fluent in English
- Management skills with experience leading and influencing others
- Innovation mindset
- Knowledge of budget and quality processes
- Experience in managing service providers preferred
- Duty travel will be required on a regular basis to other stations supported by Minneapolis
- Available to assist Chicago (ORD) with the Full Freighter flight departing at 0300.

- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds
