About Good Sol
Good Sol is a quick-service spot on Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach, right by the sand. We do smoothies, acai bowls, coffee, and chia pudding—tasty, healthier options perfect for a casual bite. The atmosphere is easy-going, the beach is right outside, and we keep things simple and friendly.
What We're Looking For
We need someone reliable and friendly who enjoys making smoothies and acai bowls, interacting with customers, taking their orders, and helping with any questions they have. You'll also help keep the shop tidy and organized, prep ingredients, set up our outdoor seating area, and make sure things stay stocked throughout the day. The job involves some physical work (lifting boxes occasionally, climbing a ladder), and handling minor issues as they come up.
Responsibilities
- Prepare smoothies, acai bowls, coffee, and chia pudding; serve customers promptly and accurately.
- Assist customers pleasantly, take orders, answer questions, and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked—including prepping fruit, managing inventory, and refilling supplies.
- Receive and handle deliveries (unpacking, storing in fridges, freezers, shelves, or attic storage).
- Set up and maintain the outdoor seating area daily, keeping furniture and equipment tidy and organized.
- At closing, store ingredients properly, secure outdoor equipment, wash dishes, clean surfaces, drain sinks, and occasionally mop floors.
