Overview
Timbers Hospitality Group, Inc. (THG) is seeking a full-time Kitchen Supervisor. This position will work closely with the management, corporate, restaurant staff and reporting to the general manager.
THG is a privately owned and operated hospitality company established in 1997. THG operates a chain of highly respected neighborhood taverns in the Las Vegas valley. Our modern corporate office is centrally located near Decatur and I-215 and houses human resources, marketing, accounting, operations and facility maintenance. Essential Shift Functions
- Assists in the floor control of the day-to-day operations of food, beverage and gaming
- Assists in assuring safety, security and health protocols are being followed
- Assists with training of team members to include feedback and follow up
- Assists in assuring all policies and procedures are being followed
- Assists with light administrative duties including ordering, inventories, etc.
- Assists with guest relations including table touches, complaints, accidents, security and ID verification
- Assists with point of sale by acting as a ‘key holder’ for discounts, comps, team member meals, etc.
- Assists with all other supervisory duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Position involves kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying and/or moving objects.
- Must be capable of lifting 65 lbs.
- Push/Pull 150lbs.
- Requires the physical ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Team members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp and navigate through wet slippery surfaces safely.
- Must be able to adapt to the climate with marked changes in temperature from the heat in the kitchen area to the cold of refrigerated areas.
- Capable of working extended hours, to include weekends and holidays as necessary
