3 Rivers Mental Health Center is actively recruiting for the position of Adult Mental Health Case Manager. This challenging and rewarding position is responsible for supporting adults with disabling mental illness. Case Managers link and refer clients to community based social services; provide advocacy for their clients at all times; and support clients through the development of an individualized treatment plan in increasing their quality of life. 3 Rivers Mental Health Center is committed to a developmental path different model of conceptualizing adult mental illness. Case managers are able to work from their own home. Those who work better in a more structured environment have the option of working from the office.
Requirements: Applicants must have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively perform case management duties.
Minimum qualifications for a Case Manager are:
1. Preferred bachelor's degree in a human services field with cumulatively one year of experience working with individuals of any age with mental illnesses or;
2. Applicants without a Bachelors degree who, as providers, consumers, or advocates of mental health services have gained significant experience and developed the necessary skills, may also be considered for employment as intensive case managers. The successful applicant must possess a valid drivers license and a licensed and insured vehicle.
Compensation:
The wage described in this post is a starting wage based on experience at time of hire.
