Floor Tech (PT/PRN)
Mill Creek Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Floor Tech to help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for our residents and staff.
Primary Shift: 11a-6p with intermittent overnight project shifts
Responsibilities
- Buff, strip, wax, scrub, and finish floors as scheduled
- Maintain floor care equipment and report needed repairs
- Follow facility safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Previous floor care or housekeeping experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Team-oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping
- Ability to operate floor care equipment and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment and follow infection control practices
