Location: 820 Arbutus Ave, Oconto, WI 54153
FTE Status: Part-Time, 0.60 FTE (24 hours/week)
Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00pm-7:00am), with an every other weekend rotation & a holiday rotation; An individual in this role will also float to the OHMC Medical Unit, working 10:00pm-6:00am

- Responsible for providing patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
- Coordinates and processes department patient information.
- performs secretarial tasks, and maintains organized workflow of department.
- Functions as department receptionist and responds to customer inquiries or customer is referred to appropriate person(s).
- Responsible for hospital patient registration process, chart processing and filing, and charge entry.
- Schedules patient appointments and reappointments.
- Processes internal and external provider requests for patient information.
- Completes insurance verification as required by payors.
- Enters payments as received by patients.
- Manages hospital telephone calls and communicates with appropriate staff and/or providers.
- High school diploma and health care business courses preferred, or demonstrates necessary skills to fulfill job duty/responsibilities is required.
- Listed on State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
- Previous customer service and medical office/health care experience preferred, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with computer/keyboarding skills required.
