Duties
- Provide professional massage therapy services including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing pain management or occupational health issues
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and patient progress reports
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and clinic protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers or medical professionals when necessary to optimize patient care
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills
- Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Prior work in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored treatment plans
- Knowledge of best practices for maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
