You would be in charge of developing new business, while taking care of your house accounts. With the right person in this position, it will lead to a promotion to Sales Manager of the business. Will train for this position: a dynamic individual with a strong drive in outside sales, management, and business development. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in account management, B2B sales, and marketing, with a focus on technology sales. The Commissioner will be responsible for fostering relationships with clients, leading sales initiatives, and ensuring the effective execution of strategies that align with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.
- Manage and oversee outside sales teams to achieve revenue targets and enhance performance.
- Cultivate relationships with key clients through effective account management and customer service.
- Lead business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for B2B partnerships.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and analyze performance metrics.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase offerings to potential clients.
- Engage in cold calling and direct sales efforts to generate leads and close deals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support lead generation efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong track record in territory management and lead generation.
- Demonstrated ability in sales management, including experience with both inside and direct sales.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software for managing customer relationships effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products and services effectively.
- Excellent analysis skills to evaluate market data and drive informed decision-making.
- Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Background in technology sales is preferred, along with experience in retail sales environments.
