We are looking for a friendly, dependable Deli Associate to join our team! In this role, you will help prepare fresh foods, assist customers, and keep the deli area clean, stocked, and running smoothly. If you enjoy working with people and being part of a fast-paced team, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package deli items such as meats, cheeses, salads, and hot foods
- Slice meats and cheeses to customer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service and answer product questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restock products and assist with inventory as needed
- Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, scales, ovens, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Previous deli, food service, or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30lbs
