Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Lead Residential Framer Carpenter to oversee and execute framing projects for residential construction. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of 2-3 carpenters and ensure the successful completion of framing, and related tasks with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will drive quality craftsmanship, safety compliance, and timely project delivery. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate framing crew to ensure accurate and efficient installation of wall, roof, floor, and ceiling structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Oversee building erection, including wood framing and structural support systems, ensuring adherence to schematics and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Wood LP siding installation,
- Remodeling tasks as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule materials procurement, heavy equipment operation, and subcontractor activities for seamless workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential framing carpentry with a strong background in frame carpentry, and roofing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience managing construction teams on-site.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; familiarity with construction management principles is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and building codes relevant to residential projects.
