What You'll Be Working On:
This facility operates sophisticated continuous-process manufacturing equipment that relies on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated control systems.
1st shift position!
You'll maintain and troubleshoot:
Extrusion equipment and processing systems
Sheet production and finishing lines
Conveyors and automated material handling systems
Motors, gearboxes, pumps, and reducers
Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
PLC-controlled machinery
VFDs, sensors, relays, and control components
Production automation and process equipment
Preventive and predictive maintenance systems
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting production equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement permanent solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and uptime.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and shutdown projects.
Maintain a safe work environment while following all plant procedures and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting and repair experience.
Proficiency in at least two of the following trades:
Electrical
Mechanical
Pipefitting
Millwright
Welding
Machining
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly Preferred
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of:
480V 3-phase systems
Motor controls
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
PLC troubleshooting
Sensors and automation components
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience supporting highly automated production lines.
