Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Order Processing & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position focuses on warehouse order fulfillment, receiving incoming inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels, and keeping processing and storage areas organized.
The ideal candidate works efficiently, follows instructions carefully, communicates well with team members, and is comfortable handling both daily order processing and incoming inventory responsibilities.
Order Processing Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, scan, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Verify products, sizes, colors, and quantities before completing each order
- Use our shipping platform to scan items, print shipping labels, and process packages
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly updating products and order information in the system
- Keep the order processing, packing, and storage areas clean and organized
- Condense and reorganize inventory when necessary to maximize storage space
- Operate simple machines and equipment required to process certain orders
- Identify and report damaged, missing, mislabeled, or incorrect inventory
- Meet daily order-processing and productivity goals
- Assist with other warehouse and fulfillment duties as assigned
Receiving Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, count, and inspect incoming inventory shipments
- Verify received products, sizes, colors, quantities, and condition against packing lists or purchase orders
- Report damaged, missing, incorrect, or mislabeled inventory to leadership
- Accurately label, organize, and put away received inventory in designated storage locations
- Assist with inventory counts, restocks, and stock organization
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving and storage areas
- Break down boxes, remove cardboard, and keep receiving areas clear of clutter
- Help prepare inventory for the sales floor, warehouse storage, or order fulfillment
- Assist with other receiving, inventory, and warehouse duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous order-picking, warehouse, receiving, inventory, or fulfillment experience is preferred
- Experience using RF scanners, shipping software, pallet jacks, or hand carts is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately follow order details, packing lists, and written instructions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn new systems, products, and processes
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and move merchandise throughout the workday
- Ability to safely lift and move boxes and inventory weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive picking, packing, scanning, stocking, and receiving tasks
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to reliably commute to Lancaster, PA 17603 or relocate before the starting date
- Must be available to work the listed schedule
- Employment is contingent upon meeting all company hiring requirements
