The progressive Kimberly Area School District has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional to work with Elementary students. This is a 10-month position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:45pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch for 36.25 hours per week. This position offers excellent year-round health and dental benefits. This position will begin on August 25, 2026.
The right candidate will:
- Work with students with varying disabilities in supporting educational and/or community programming
- Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce academic material
- Address behavioral issues using verbal de-escalation techniques taught and monitored by the Program Teacher
- Monitor and reinforce student performance through observation; perform data collection, compilation and other record keeping duties

- Punctual and able to attend work on a consistent basis.
- Someone with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work well with others.
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality while performing all functions.
- CPR/First Aid Certified may be required (training provided)
Pay
