Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations or within school settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to develop tailored treatment plans for diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Deliver targeted therapy services (individual and group) based on student requirements
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student learning outcomes
- Advocate for language and communication development within the classroom
- Stay updated on best practices and continuing education relevant to the school population
