Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and electrical systems across our facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations during the second shift, helping us deliver top-quality products efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly.
- Conduct equipment repairs involving welding ( welding), electrical diagnostics, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, and mechanical adjustments.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management.
- Operate field service tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, low voltage testers, and precision measuring instruments to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
- Assist with equipment upgrades or installations following engineering troubleshooting procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment reliability while maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance with a strong background in industrial mechanic work and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, high voltage electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematics reading.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely; certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking; technical sales experience is a plus.
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities; experience reading electrical blueprints essential.
- Skilled in welding ( welding), equipment troubleshooting, and electrical diagnostics using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Excellent communication skills in English; military or industrial electrician experience highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently on field service projects while adhering to safety standards.
