Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, ensuring clear communication of procedures and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to explain diagnoses and treatment options to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and related fields through ongoing education.
- Ensure compliance with all medical records policies and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a Dentist.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems for charting and medical documentation.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards.
- Hands-on experience with dental fabrication techniques and dental office operations.
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgeries confidently.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health care options effectively.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping and medical documentation.

Pay: $225,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
