Entry Level – Training Provided
Harbour Village Campground is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier/Front Desk Associate to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for campers, guests, and visitors while providing excellent customer service and handling front desk and cashier responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet campers, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Process purchases and transactions accurately using a cash register/POS system
- Handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Assist guests with questions regarding campground amenities, activities, and services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/store area
- Stock retail items and assist with merchandise displays as needed
- Monitor and maintain office and store inventory levels
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Follow company policies regarding cash handling and customer service
- Open and/or close the store as scheduled
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older OR possess a high school diploma
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have dependable attendance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Must be comfortable working 8-hour shifts
- Previous cashier, retail, hospitality, campground, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
Schedule
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Store hours are:
- Sunday through Thursday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday and Saturday: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
