We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our sales and operations team while driving profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and employee development.
Position Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, employee development, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop inside and outside sales personnel
- Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus
- Conduct performance reviews and employee development planning
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive revenue growth and market share expansion
- Develop and execute branch business plans
- Increase sales with strategic suppliers and key product lines
- Support major customer opportunities and account development
- Participate in customer visits and strategic sales calls
Financial Management
- Full responsibility for branch P&L performance
- Monitor sales, gross margin, operating expenses, and profitability
- Manage branch inventory investment and inventory turns
- Identify and address slow-moving inventory
- Ensure achievement of branch financial goals
Customer & Supplier Relations
- Build strong relationships with customers and supplier partners
- Resolve customer concerns and service issues
- Support supplier growth initiatives and local marketing efforts
Operational Excellence
- Monitor new business opportunities and sales pipeline activity
- Manage special pricing and customer terms
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate and implement corporate initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in sales, distribution, or branch management
- Proven ability to lead and develop employees
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
Preferred:
- Experience in electrical, electronic, industrial, automation, or distribution industries
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing P&L responsibility
