East Greenbush CSD is accepting applications for three (3) Part-time Teaching Assistants. The positions are 3.5 hours per day, 10 months per year. The positions are to work with students or groups to support their understanding of the curriculum; support students with social-emotional and management needs; support students with ADLs and self-help skills, or with the use of assistive technology or augmentative communication devices; provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to students for the purpose of re-teaching and review. Assist with classroom management, including implementation of behavior management plans; provide instructional assistance or support in a computer lab, classroom or other instructional location under the direct supervision of a teacher.
Job Qualifications
Candidates MUST hold valid New York State Teaching Assistant or Classroom Teacher Certification.
