LHH is seeking a Contract HR Administrator
LHH is partnering with a confidential employer in Houston, Texas, to identify a detail-oriented HR Administrator who enjoys supporting people, processes, and daily human resources operations. This fully onsite opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at organization, and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative support across multiple HR functions.
The selected professional will play a key role in maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding activities, supporting benefits administration, and assisting with employee-related documentation. This position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure to human resources while contributing to a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities-
Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including paperwork collection and orientation scheduling

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation remains up to date

Assist with benefits enrollment, employee status changes, and related administrative tasks

Support recruiting efforts through interview scheduling and candidate communication

Process employment verifications and maintain personnel files in compliance with company policies

Assist with HR reporting, data entry, and record auditing

Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR processes and policies
-
Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and company events
-
Track time-off requests and support various HR administrative functions

Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle experience
Qualifications-
2+ years of administrative experience within Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll, or a related field

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word

Experience working with HRIS systems is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Associate's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered

Compensation & Benefits-
Pay range: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
