Preschool Teacher / Lead Educator Join a Professional & Supportive Team
Role Objective: Are you a dedicated teacher looking for a professional and supportive workplace? We are seeking a high-level educator to report directly to the Director and be the teacher who works to maintain an organized, safe, and high-quality learning environment for all children. In this role, you will take ownership of the classroom experience, ensuring our high standards for early childhood development are met every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Collaboration: Report directly to the Director to ensure classroom operations and curriculum align with our vision of excellence.
- Environmental Mastery: Maintain a consistently organized, safe, and high-quality learning environment that is "inspection-ready" at all times.
- Educational Leadership: Lead daily activities and lessons for children (ages 0–6) that foster independence, safety, and growth.
- Professional Communication: Act as a professional bridge between the classroom and the Director, providing regular updates on student progress and classroom needs.
Qualifications
- Educational Foundation: Must have completed required Early Childhood Education 12 ECE units (Child Development, Child/Family/Community, and Program/Curriculum).
- Proven Experience: 2 or more years of experience in a licensed childcare setting with a track record of maintaining high classroom standards.
- Organizational Eye: A passion for keeping a "prepared environment" where every material has a place and safety is the top priority.
- Clear Communication: Ability to maintain a transparent and professional line of communication with leadership and parents.
- Compliance Mindset: Deep understanding of state licensing requirements and health/safety protocols.
