Summary
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at Desert Hills Physical Therapy and Wellness LLC. In this role, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional patient care, helping individuals recover and improve their physical abilities in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment sessions.
- Support patients with mobility and daily activities as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
