About the Role
We are seeking a neuroaffirming pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist who values child-led, strengths-based intervention and enjoys working within a holistic, transdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is playful, nurturing, flexible, and committed to building strong relationships with children and families.
Experience with play-based approaches such as DIR/Floortime and an understanding of sensory processing are preferred, but we welcome passionate clinicians who are eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and feeding evaluations using standardized and criterion-referenced assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, needs, and goals.
- Provide one-on-one speech, language, and feeding therapy using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
- Participate in co-treatment sessions with occupational therapists.
- Lead speech and language groups, dyads, and seasonal camps as needed.
- Complete timely documentation, progress reports, and treatment notes.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Maryland licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Experience working with pediatric clients preferred.
- CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
