Position Overview
The Event Assistant supports setup, customer service, content capture, and breakdown for our events, as well as cleaning and maintaining our equipment. This is a dynamic, modern role that combines event production with content creation, ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, creativity, and being part of memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, transporting, and setting up perfume bar equipment at event venues (company pays mileage for travel to event locations)
- Provide warm, professional customer service to guests
- Capture high-quality photo and video content throughout events using a mobile device, highlighting the guest experience, setup, and overall atmosphere
- Document behind-the-scenes moments, event transformations, and client interactions for social media use
- Help maintain a welcoming, interactive event space
- Clean, sanitize, and organize perfume-making tools and equipment after each event
- Track inventory and assist with event preparation
- Safely handle and transport fragrance oils and related supplies
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to event venues
- Must enjoy traveling, as this role requires frequent travel to locations across the Hudson Valley, New York City, Long Island, and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Must be available on weekends and some evening events
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Friendly and professional demeanor with clients and guests
- Comfortable capturing content on a mobile device and being part of a creative, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in events, hospitality
- Interest in fragrances, beauty, or creative work
- Experience with content creation, social media, or photography/videography is a strong plus
Job Type
- Part-time W-2 employee role
- Work takes place at event venues throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, Long Island, and surrounding areas.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
