We are seeking an experienced, highly-skilled, and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques and tools used in the automotive industry. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards before returning to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
- Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance and detailing to ensure optimal performance and appearance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for repairs and refinishing.
- Execute auto painting with precision, ensuring a smooth finish that meets factory-quality finish.
- Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop repair plans through auto estimating.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of proven experience as an Auto Body Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and restoration.
- Proficiency in using various tools such as welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work, soldering techniques, and assembly processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and installations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members.
