Earth + Water Spa Boutique is an award-winning holistic wellness destination located in the heart of Wakefield, Massachusetts. We are seeking a highly organized, warm, and proactive Spa Coordinator to become an integral part of our leadership team.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in hospitality, enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences, has strong organizational skills, and is excited to take ownership of daily spa operations.This is more than a front desk position. We are looking for someone who can help oversee the day-to-day flow of the spa, support our therapists and estheticians, drive retail sales, assist with scheduling and operations, and help ensure our guests receive an exceptional experience from start to finish.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As Spa Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our guests while also serving as a key operational support person for the spa. You will work closely with ownership and the spa team to ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high service standards, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience & Front Desk
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Answer phones, emails, and text inquiries promptly
- Schedule, modify, and confirm appointments
- Assist guests in selecting services, memberships, packages, and retail products
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Create memorable experiences that encourage guest retention and referrals
Operations & Team Support
- Assist ownership with daily spa operations and administrative tasks
- Monitor schedules and help maximize therapist and esthetician bookings
- Identify gaps in schedules and proactively assist with rebooking efforts
- Help coordinate daily staff flow and room readiness
- Facilitate infrared sauna and Ballancer Pro sessions (training provided)
- Assist with inventory organization and supply management
- Ensure treatment rooms, common areas, and guest spaces meet spa standards
- Support onboarding and training of new front desk team members when needed
- Maintain daily operational checklists and procedures
Sales & Business Growth
- Actively promote spa memberships, packages, retail products, and seasonal promotions
- Support retail merchandising and inventory displays
- Assist with achieving monthly retail and membership goals
- Follow up with guests regarding future bookings and recommendations
- Help identify opportunities to improve guest retention and revenue
Administrative Responsibilities
- Process payments, gift cards, memberships, and retail transactions accurately
- Manage appointment confirmations and guest communications
- Maintain client records and confidentiality
- Assist with reporting, inventory counts, and operational projects
- Support marketing initiatives including social media content gathering and promotional events when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of customer service, hospitality, spa, wellness, or front desk experience
- Previous spa, salon, hotel, medical spa, wellness center, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Strong sales and guest service mindset• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
- Ability to move throughout the spa, climb stairs, and assist with light operational duties

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
