We are looking for a passionate and organized Part-Time Adult Education Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact at one of our satellite locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enroll and support adult students in their pursuit of a GED or high school diploma.
- Provide instruction and guidance to help students complete their coursework successfully.
- Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment, attendance, and performance data.
- Utilize basic technology tools to facilitate instruction, communication, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay updated on best practices in adult education and integrate them into your teaching.
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified teacher within the state of Michigan.
- Experience in adult education or working with non-traditional students is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic technology use, including email, word processing, and educational software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
