Duties
- Companionship and conversation
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Shopping or running errands
- Organizing incoming mail
- Grooming, bathing and restroom assistance
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Transportation to physician appointments, beauty salons, etc.
- May provide any additional duties that the caregiver has been trained in and is determined to be competent in, as long as those duties fall within the Illinois licensing regulations for a Home Service Agency
Requirements
- Would prefer experienced caregiver or CNA
- Genuine concern about helping people
- High moral standards of honesty and integrity
- Excellent business and personal references
- Satisfactory completion of Comfort Keepers training and orientation program
- Applicant must be bondable and meet or exceed minimum qualifications for background checks to include: Criminal background investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving record, Business and Personal references
- Applicant must submit to random drug and alcohol testing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 45 per week
