Duties
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and organizing ingredients according to safety standards and recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices
- Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to keep dining areas tidy and ready for new guests
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing accuracy
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with kitchen operations such as cooking, food preparation, and banquet service is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with customers in person
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, heavy lifting, and manual handling safely
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable
- Experience using POS systems like Aloha or Micros enhances efficiency in order management
