Alfonzetti Engineering, P.C. is an established and growing civil engineering firm seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Mount Kisco, NY.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineering professional to take a lead role in civil engineering and land development projects. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, municipalities, engineers, and designers on a wide variety of projects, providing leadership and technical expertise through all phases of project development.

Position Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, as well as a strong background in land development, site design, utility design, stormwater management, and septic system design.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing land development and site design projects from concept through construction
- Preparing and reviewing engineering plans, reports, calculations, and permit applications
- Designing grading, drainage, utility, roadway, stormwater management, and septic system improvements
- Preparing drawings and design documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Coordinating with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Attending project meetings, planning board meetings, and agency review meetings as required
- Conducting site visits and field investigations
- Assisting with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
- Mentoring junior engineers and designers
- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with applicable regulations and engineering standards

Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and land development practices
- Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipal officials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF-based document management
- Ability to perform occasional field work, including outdoor site visits and inspections
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience
- EIT/FE certification preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to commute to Mount Kisco, NY 10549 (required)
- Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available at this time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
