Position: Director of Contract Sales

Role Snapshot:
As the Director of Contact Sales, contributions will involve strategic planning with the EVP of Sales and leading a team towards substantial business outcomes. You'll be immersed in setting key performance metrics, fostering a culture of accountability, and driving growth within the manufacturing division of the company, leveraging existing as well as developing new revenue-generating relationships.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Execute sales strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability.
- Team Management: Lead, inspire, and hold accountable a dynamic sales team to achieve top-tier performance.
- Customer Engagement: Act as the voice of the customer within the company, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize sales operations tools, manage budgets, and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
Contributions:
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for growth and profitability within segment, establishing the necessary infrastructure for success.
- Lead the development of disruptive marketing and sales strategies to drive market penetration and achieve sales growth, with a focus on cost-effective customer acquisition and demand generation.
- Provide strategic commercial input for product development and business prioritization through thorough market and business analysis.
- Track and manage sales budgets and performance metrics, refining benchmarks to measure the sales team’s success and using data to guide future growth decisions.
- Lead the evaluation and optimization of sales operations tools, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales infrastructure, ensuring team success, transparency, and execution.
- Identify growth opportunities through in-depth customer analytics and market insights, turning data into actionable strategies.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business conditions, aligning sales strategies with customer needs and market demands.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align core brand messaging, service positioning, and sales collateral for maximum market impact.
- Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers to drive strategic growth and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to travel 20-25% of the time.
- Other duties as needed to meet the needs of the business.
Essentials Skills & Expertise:
- Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience.
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and management skills.
- Direct experience in sales of manufacturing:
- consumer products: health, wellness, nutraceutical, fitness
Desirables:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- A strong track record in consultative selling and customer relationship management.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary is at $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 annually, representing the low and high ends of the range. The actual starting rate of pay may vary based on factors that include, but are not limited to, the position offered, work experience, education, training, and commensurate experience.
