We specialize in orthodontic treatment for children and adults. This includes interceptive, comprehensive & limited treatment options tailored for each patient's needs.
Our office is growing & we are searching for the right person to join our team. We have offices in Scarborough & Gorham. Applicant must be willing to travel to both locations. The ideal candidate would have experience working as an orthodontic assistant and have an oral radiology certificate. Character & attitude are the most important quality we are looking for. Must be be clinically proficient, capable, motivated, energetic, detail oriented & work well in a team setting . The office is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (7 am to 5 pm). Job Responsibilities
- Patient care
- Sterilization
- Taking diagnostic radiographs, photos, dental impressions & intra-oral records scans
- 3D printing of appliances
- Patient instruction
- Making patient chart entries
- Placing orthodontic separators
- Fitting orthodontic bands
- Sizing & placing arch wires
- Tying in & untying arch wires
- Placing elastic chain
- Placing steel ligature ties
- Answering phones if needed
Work experience
- Dental assisting

Education
- Oral radiology certified
- CPR/BLS certified

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
