Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized Customer Service & Shop Support Representative to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for customers and plays an important role in keeping our shop running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys helping customers. Automotive or repair-shop experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Welcome customers warmly and assist with check-in.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Keep customers informed about repair progress based on updates from technicians and supervisors.
- Explain services and invoices clearly while addressing customer questions or concerns with patience and professionalism.
Shop Support
- Schedule jobs and assist with scheduling service appointments.
- Manage work orders during customer check-in and coordinate with technicians.
- Track parts and shipments and maintain accurate records to support an efficient workflow.
- Maintain an organized front desk and assist with general clerical tasks.
- Keep the shop and work areas clean, safe, and organized, including sweeping and taking out trash.
- Log and enter safety checks through the GUAMTAX website, with supervisor approval.
Financial Support
- Assist with processing customer payments and issuing receipts.
- Help balance daily reports and maintain basic financial/accounting records.
- Assist with resolving billing or invoice questions professionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Punctual, dependable, and professional.
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Comfortable communicating with customers, technicians, and supervisors.
- Willing to learn new systems and procedures.
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
