Join our dynamic healthcare education team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor. Instructor will be teaching at an Adult Learning Center, teaching students Home Health Aid and Personal Care Aid Courses. As an RN Instructor, you will deliver comprehensive instruction across various nursing disciplines, support curriculum development, and mentor students from diverse backgrounds to excel in their careers. Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person instruction for adult students, integrating simulation methods and clinical instruction to enhance practical skills.
- Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations in senior care environments.
- Design and implement innovative teaching strategies that incorporate medical terminology, care plans, and patient-centered approaches to foster critical thinking.
- Review documentation such as exams and skill evaulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience required.
- Proven supervising experience in clinical or educational settings within healthcare or nursing education.
- Strong background in nursing practice with expertise in patient care, care plans, documentation review, and medical terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively while working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience designing curricula and utilizing teaching simulation methods to enhance student engagement and competency development.
- Familiarity with educational compliance regulations relevant to higher education and healthcare training programs.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on clinical instruction, classroom management, and student mentorship.
