Overview
AuraBead is seeking an energetic, creative, and outgoing Retail & Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, sales, social media content creation, and hands-on creative work.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working at pop-up events, assisting customers with one-on-one DIY bracelet workshops, creating engaging content for social media, and supporting our growing online brand presence.
This position combines retail sales, workshop assistance, social media content creation, and light marketing support.
Responsibilities
- Represent the AuraBead brand at pop-up markets and retail activations
- Introduce and explain products to customers, including natural stone jewelry, crystals, and DIY workshop experiences
- Assist customers with one-on-one bracelet-making workshops
- Build strong customer relationships through friendly and engaging communication
- Create photo and video content during events and workshops for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
- Edit short-form video content using Canva, CapCut, or similar editing software
- Assist with social media posting and content planning
- Support updates and improvements to the company website through Squarespace
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional content
- Support basic administrative and organizational tasks using Excel and other digital tools
Qualifications
- Previous retail, sales, customer service, marketing, or event experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers in fast-paced environments
- Outgoing personality with confidence in sales and product recommendations
- Creative mindset with interest in social media and content creation
- Hands-on and detail-oriented; DIY or crafting experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Squarespace, Excel, and social media platforms preferred
- Familiarity with video editing software such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar tools is a plus
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy events
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with handmade products, jewelry, fashion, crystals, or wellness brands
- Experience creating TikTok or Instagram content
- Experience with email marketing platforms and website management
- Experience working at pop-up events, markets, or trade shows
Schedule & Location
- Part-time or Full-time opportunities available
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and event days
- Events primarily located in the Greater Boston area
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, skill set, and availability.
