We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Staff Accountant I to join our Finance team. As Staff Accountant I, you'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records while partnering with teams across the organization. What You'll Do
As Staff Accountant I, you will:

Process and record accounts payable. accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Prepare and post journal entries.

Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies.

Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with accounting standards.

Support the annual audit process by preparing documentation and assisting auditors.

Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather and report financial information.

Help support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting efforts.

Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices.

Follow all company policies and comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

Complete additional accounting and finance projects as assigned.
What You'll Bring

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

One to three years of experience in general ledger accounting.

One to three years of experience in accounts payable.

Working knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial regulations.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

One to three years of payroll experience, accounts receivable experience, nonprofit accounting experience, or experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP preferred, but not required.
