Position Summary
We are looking for responsible, energetic, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Coffee Team Members.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing beverages, taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, specialty drinks, and both hot and cold beverages according to CFS recipes and quality standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service at the register, coffee bar, dining area, and other service stations with accuracy, friendliness, and efficiency.
- Take customer orders, deliver food and beverages, and answer questions about the menu.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked workstations, coffee bar, dining room, and assigned service areas.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, restocking supplies, and deep cleaning tasks.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention procedures.
- Report inventory shortages, equipment issues, and customer concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the bar, kitchen, and store leadership teams.
- Participate in CFS training programs and professional development activities.
Requirements
- One (1) year or more of experience in customer service, cashiering, barista, restaurant, or food service roles.
- Basic knowledge of specialty coffee and beverage preparation.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Toast, Square, or other Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Current Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain one within the required timeframe.
