Haven Living & Storage is a professionally managed apartment and storage community in Gallup, NM, offering modern studio living, secure storage units, and community amenities including a conference room, fitness center (coming soon), and resident atrium with lounge and games.
We are actively transforming and elevating the property and are seeking a motivated, professional Leasing Agent who wants to grow with a property that is improving, expanding, and building a strong reputation in the community.

Position Overview
The Leasing Agent is responsible for generating traffic, conducting tours, converting prospects into residents, managing applications, supporting retention efforts, and maintaining accurate leasing documentation.
This is not a passive desk job. This role requires follow-up, accountability, organization, and a high level of professionalism.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Sales
- Respond to all phone, email, website, and walk-in inquiries promptly
- Conduct professional property tours
- Follow up consistently with prospects to convert leads
- Process applications and screen residents
- Prepare lease agreements and move-in documentation
- Maintain strong occupancy levels
Resident Relations
- Provide professional, courteous service to all residents
- Address concerns or route maintenance requests properly
- Support renewals and retention efforts
- Maintain positive community atmosphere
Administrative
- Maintain accurate leasing records and files
- Track leads, applications, and conversions
- Assist with rent collection communication
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and local regulations
- Keep marketing platforms updated (Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.)
Marketing Support
- Assist with local marketing efforts
- Maintain professional online presence
- Support social media content when needed
- Identify creative ways to increase occupancy
Qualifications
- Previous leasing, property management, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable using property management software and email systems
- Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly and professionally
- Must be reliable and accountable
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to walk units and property regularly
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to show units in various stages of renovation

Compensation Range: $15.00–$16/hour DOE
