Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring proper entry and processing of sales transactions
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales while maintaining a friendly approach
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing duties
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure seamless service flow
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred
- Experience with food handling, serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, cashiering or related roles is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to foster guest satisfaction and team collaboration
