Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cooks with outgoing, people friendly personalities to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with experience in the food industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious food/pizzas that meet our high standards of quality. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook food/pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets food safety standards.
- Assist in menu planning by contributing ideas for new pizza varieties and toppings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Provide assistance in meal preparation for other menu items as needed.
- Adhere to dietary guidelines when preparing meals for specific dietary needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in the food service industry, preferably with pizza preparation.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating delicious meals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Experience in menu planning is a plus but not required.
