Mad Wingz is seeking a friendly, dependable, and experienced Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and can accurately process orders while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask during busy shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Accurately take dine-in, carryout, and phone orders.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and process cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Maintain an organized and balanced cash drawer throughout each shift.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
- Assist with food packaging and verify orders before delivery to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, beverage station and restrooms.
- Regularly inspect, clean, and restock customer and employee restrooms to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, cups, and to-go containers.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of cashier or restaurant experience preferred.
- Previous experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
