American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Ambulatory Care position requiring 2 years of experience and both adult and pediatric competency.

Ambulatory Care clinic setting

Adult and pediatric patient population

Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
One rotating Saturday per month required with a corresponding weekday off
-
No on-call requirements

Uses Cerner charting system
-
Mandatory float facility with floating required across multiple locations at the facility's discretion
-
May float outside primary area of competency, in which case a team-based care model is implemented
-
Floating notifications may occur up to 2 hours prior to shift start
-
Active IL RN license required in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)

BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Adult and pediatric clinical experience required

Cerner charting experience preferred

Two professional references required from most recent employers, with one from the most recent employer
-
Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exceptions
-
Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting the assignment

Duties may include patient triage, medication administration, specimen collection, vital signs, EKG/ECG, wound care, and assisting with procedures

Navy blue scrub color required

Free on-site parking available

Local candidates accepted and preferred; must live within 75 miles of the facility for local rate consideration

RTO limited to 5 days maximum with no more than 2 consecutive days off
-
No RTO permitted on weekends, holidays, or the day before/after a holiday

Block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not approved
-
Returning resources must undergo full recredentialing and orientation, regardless of the length of any break in contract

Refusal to float may result in assignment cancellation
