At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.
Summary
Under supervision, develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans.
Responsibilities

Completes Assessments to determine appropriateness for services.

Develops and implements behavior management plans as required by regulatory agencies.

Evaluates clients physical or mental condition based on review of client's information.
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment

Monitor, evaluate, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.

Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
- Provides training to direct staff in implementing behavior modification techniques.

Trains to collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests.

Executes evidence-based counseling groups designed to enlighten clients on prevention and perpetuation of learned techniques, strategies, and interventions to maintain stability.

Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR certification as an addiction counselor from the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) or equivalent certification.

Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia's Driver's License.
