We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at Hamppton Manor of Chesapeake Assisted Living Facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing maintenance, ensuring the safety and functionality of the facility, and providing a comfortable living environment for our residents.
- Manage and supervise all maintenance activities within the assisted living facility.
- Develop , preventive maintenance programs to ensure all equipment and systems are functioning properly.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance work, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
- Oversee the maintenance budget, including purchasing supplies and equipment as needed.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff (if applicable) to promote a high level of performance and safety awareness.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruption to residents and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the overall operations and resident satisfaction.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2-4 years of maintenance experience (healthcare or assisted living preferred).
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
Working knowledge of:
Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
Valid Virginia driver’s license.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor.
On-call availability for emergencies.
