Local CDL-A Truck Driver – Home Daily
Ace Carriers Transportation Inc. is actively hiring dependable Class A CDL drivers for our local operations based in Douglasville, Georgia.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position designed for professional drivers who want strong weekly earnings while returning home daily.
Compensation & Schedule
- $1,400–$1,600 per week
- Approximately $72,800–$83,200+ annually
- Paid weekly
- Monday–Friday
- Home daily
- Weekends off
- Full-time, consistent work
- Additional compensation opportunities may be available based on assignment and freight type
Operating Area
Drivers operate from our Douglasville, GA terminal and service customers throughout Georgia and surrounding areas within approximately a 250-mile operating radius.
This is a local driving position. Drivers are expected to report to the terminal as scheduled and be prepared to complete their assigned workday.
Position Responsibilities
As a CDL-A Driver with Ace Carriers Transportation Inc., you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating a Class 8 tractor-trailer
- Completing scheduled pickups and deliveries
- Performing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintaining accurate ELD records
- Communicating professionally with Dispatch and Operations
- Providing timely status updates throughout the workday
- Maintaining bills of lading, PODs, and other load documentation
- Following DOT, FMCSA, company safety, and Hours-of-Service requirements
- Maintaining assigned equipment in clean and professional condition
- Following customer and facility procedures at pickup and delivery locations
Driver Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- Hold a current DOT Medical Certificate
- Meet all DOT and company driver-qualification requirements
- Successfully complete required pre-employment screening
- Have an acceptable motor vehicle and safety record
- Be able to safely operate tractor-trailer equipment
- Be dependable and available for scheduled Monday–Friday operations
- Maintain professional and timely communication with Dispatch
- Be prepared to begin work within our 3–7 day hiring timeframe if selected
