Sweetpea Pediatric Therapy Services (SPTS) is seeking a Texas-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting in the Duncanville / Southwest Dallas area.
This role is a good fit for an SLPA who enjoys school-based therapy but wants consistent clinical support, access to an SLP-focused team, and the ability to focus primarily on therapy rather than campus duties.

What You'll Do
As an SLPA with SPTS, you will:
- Provide speech and language therapy under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement evidence-based treatment activities addressing goals and objectives outlined in each student's IEP
- Provide individual and group therapy as assigned
- Collect and maintain accurate data during therapy sessions
- Complete timely and accurate documentation for services provided
- Communicate regularly with your supervising SLP regarding student progress, treatment needs, and clinical questions
- Collaborate professionally with teachers, school staff, families, supervisors, and other members of the student's educational team as appropriate
- Participate in meetings, supervision, training, and professional development activities
- Use electronic systems for email, scheduling, documentation, and access to special education records
- Maintain professional verbal and written communication
- Complete other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or an equivalent field meeting Texas SLPA licensure requirements
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license, or ability to obtain licensure prior to beginning clinical services
- Availability to work approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors and school-based teams
- Interest in continued professional learning and development
Preferred
- Two or more years of pediatric speech therapy experience
- Previous school-based experience
- Experience providing individual and group speech-language therapy
- Fluency in Spanish and English

Compensation
$34.00–$39.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

- School-day schedule (7:30/8:00 and ends around 3:30/4:00)
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week
