Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Queen of Peace Center, is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery mentoring, coaching, and supportive services to individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring behavioral health disorders. Drawing from lived recovery experience, this role serves as a positive role model while helping individuals identify strengths, develop life skills, build self-advocacy and problem-solving skills, and access resources that support long-term recovery. The Peer Support Specialist partners with individuals to establish recovery goals, navigate treatment and community services, and overcome barriers to recovery through a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. This position works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to promote engagement, wellness, relapse prevention, and sustained recovery while maintaining documentation, productivity standards, and compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards. Some evening and weekend hours are required. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour, with the opportunity for a higher starting rate based on relevant education, experience, certifications, and qualifications.
