Industrial Equipment Mechanic
Atlas Staffing is hiring an Industrial Equipment Mechanic for a company in the Boise, Idaho area. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment in a hands-on environment.
(Must have Mechanical & Electrical experience is required (2+ years)
Pay: Starting at $23.00/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities Perform mechanical repairs on industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and controls.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Inspect equipment and identify repair needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Complete repair and maintenance documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Experience repairing industrial equipment is required.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and controls is required.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities.
- Reliable attendance and strong mechanical aptitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work around industrial equipment throughout the workday.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
