Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver Class B to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and experienced in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized vehicles. Duties
- Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle, including manual transmission trucks, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate tools such as forklifts or manual handling techniques.
- Follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns before each shift.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status or any delays.
- Assist with securing loads on trucks like dump trucks or roll-off trucks when necessary.
- Ensure proper handling of freight, including fragile or hazardous materials, following all safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery roles, especially with Class B vehicles.
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and various types of trailers such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off trucks.
- Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts or manual methods.
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to optimize delivery schedules.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.

Pay: $24.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
