At Cerebrations, we help people better understand how their brains work through psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. While the science behind what we do is highly technical, the heart of our practice is entirely human.
We are looking for a Part-Time Contract Psychometrist who loves data, but loves people even more.
Testing can sometimes feel intimidating for clients. That’s why we need someone who can administer these assessments with clinical accuracy, while making our clients feel safe, heard, and valued. If you enjoy connecting with individuals of all ages and want to play a key role in their care journey, you'll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
-Connect and Welcome: Build quick, genuine rapport with clients (from kids to seniors) to ease their anxiety and help them feel comfortable before testing begins.
-Administer Tests: Guide clients through standardized cognitive, memory, attention, and achievement tests under the supervision of our psychologists.
-Observe the Whole Person: Pay close attention to the human element. You'll take notes on how a client approaches a challenge, when they need a break, or when they just need a word of encouragement.
-Score with Care: Accurately score the tests and compile the data, ensuring the psychologist has a precise picture to help guide the client’s next steps.
Who We Are Looking For
-We are looking for someone who balances a sharp mind with a big heart. You know how to follow standard testing rules, but you never forget that there is a person sitting across the table from you.
The Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
The Experience: Prior experience administering and scoring psychological/neuropsychological tests is required.
The Personality: Naturally patient, empathetic, and an excellent listener. You are someone who genuinely enjoys working with people from all walks of life.
The Skills: Great attention to detail for scoring, combined with the flexibility to adapt to a client's pacing and emotional needs.
